Dado Type and Fit
Through dados run the full width. Stopped dados end before the front edge for a cleaner look.
Snug fit slides in with hand pressure. Glue fit requires a mallet and glue. Loose fit has visible gap.
1/3 depth is the standard rule for cabinet dados. Never exceed 1/2 the board thickness.
