Calculate how much fabric you need to make bias tape and how many yards of tape you will get from a square of fabric.
Bias Tape Needed
Measure the total edge length you need to bind. Add 10-15% extra for corners and joins.
Finished width after folding. Cut width will be 4x the finished width for double fold tape.
Double fold tape encloses the raw edge on both sides. Single fold is pressed once and used for facings.
