CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) is measured in CFM and tested at the highest fan speed for three pollutants: smoke, dust, and pollen. Smoke CADR is the strictest test and the most useful single number. Manufacturers often advertise a “rated room size” using only 2 ACH – we recommend using the actual CADR number instead.
