Area dimensions
For irregular shapes, measure the longest length and widest width. You can trim excess turf after installation.
Turf roll width
15 ft is the most common roll width for residential artificial turf. Wider rolls mean fewer seams.
Base preparation
3 to 4 inch compacted aggregate base is standard for most residential installations.
Infill type
Silica sand is the most common infill — stabilizes blades and adds weight to hold turf flat.
