Find the right embroidery hoop size for your design and calculate how much fabric you need to fit in the hoop.
Design Size
Measure the full extent of your design including any border or margin you want around the stitching.
Leave at least 1 inch between the design edge and the hoop to keep fabric taut and protect your stitches.
Hoop Type
Display hoops are the finished frame. Working hoops can be smaller than the design if you reposition as you stitch.
